Volunteers are intergral to our non-profit organization. We depend on those who give generously of their time, talents and expertise to keep the arts in the forefront of our community at Glynn Visual Arts.

Volunteer Needs Include:
Creation Station Events - Help prepare art project materials in advance (an easy at-home project!) or help facilitate the the art project on the day of the event (dates vary; events include SSE Dolphins Do Art Day, OPES Arty Party, Porchfest, Gullah GeeChee Christmas Celebration, and more!)
Help support our vendors with snacks, bathroom breaks, and more at one of our (2) Art Festivals annually; Art in the Park April 3 & 4, 2027 and Art Under the Oaks September 25 & 26, 2027
Greet visitors to the Portman Gallery and facilitate retail sales in the Art Market
Help our hospitality committee prepare and set-up for our Art Exhibition Opening Receptions throughout the year
GVA is grateful to have so many AMAZING people that really make things happen, from our INCREDIBLE Board of Directors, to our members who make themselves available to help out with a myriad of projects and events, to folks who quietly donate their time and resources from supplies for openings to paper products for our kitchen. It is truly an arts community with heART.
