Application Process
GVA maintains a fine art gallery — the Portman Gallery — in our visual arts center on St. Simons Island. We accept applications for all 2-D and 3-D visual arts media. We also curate art for off-site locations.
We strive to present accessible and diverse works that foster educational opportunities for residents and visitors to the Golden Isles.

Artist+ Member Open Call
The application for the 2026 Artist+ Member Open Call, Pop of Art, is now open. Submissions must be received by May 23, 2026 to be considered for the June 15 - July 24 show in the Portman Gallery. Open Call Application.
